Child Psychotherapy

IN-PERSON ONLY

Child psychotherapy offers a warm and safe space where children can express and better understand their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours. The process takes into account the child’s stage of development, family context, and the unique ways in which many children communicate—often more through play, drawings, or stories than through words. Major transitions, such as receiving a diagnosis, changing schools, or experiencing the separation of caregivers, can bring significant challenges. Some of these difficulties may ease over time, while others may persist and have a considerable impact on the child’s life. Psychotherapy supports children in expressing themselves, feeling understood, and developing inner resources and healthy strategies to better cope with adversity.
